Hoburne Torbay holiday centre is located close to Goodrington, a small village on the sea next to Paignton (1 mile). Like most villages it possess a small selection of shops including newsagents, hairdressers, off licence, bookmakers, toy and gift shops, a post office, convenient cash point, a local Co-op grocery store and places of worship.

Food outlets include "The Waterside Inn" a large, welcoming family run pub with good food and a highly recommended weekend carvery.

There is also a Petrol Station next to the Waterside Inn.

All the above can be found along a small stretch of Dartmouth Road a ten minute walk,or a 2 minute drive from the park.

There are also regular bus services into Paignton, Torquay and Brixham from the village.Plus the a regular bus which runs from the camp reception to Paignton. Goodrington possess arguably the best family beach in Torbay with its flat sand and rock pools for exploring. Amusements, watersports, food outlets plus some excellent local holiday attractions such as:

• Quay West Water Park on Goodrington south beach.



• Young's Park on the north beach with its traditional boating lake, crazy golf and Go-Karts,

• Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway,

• Golf range and mini golf course.

• Torbay leisure centre and pool.

And not forgetting the fabulous world famous Paignton Zoo as featured in the BBC TV Series is only one mile away. Worth a day out on its own!
